10th: The Date Where It All begins..

1. Started my first proper job this month. Finally I get to do what I have studied my butt off for 3 yrs. Though it did not start off as gracefully or wonderfully as I wanted it too, I am proud to say I have completed one assignment on my own! I would like to say more but I shall leave my joy and agony of my new job to another post.



2. This does not directly affect me but exams in uni started on this date. Now all my friends are too busy to talk to me and I am super bored. So waiting for them to finish so that I would have more people to talk with!



3. P and I got together on this date. We have been together for 20 months! Yes, I do keep track of the months..It is for a very simple reason really. I or we derive satisfaction knowing that we are still going strong every month despite all the arguments and the problems we have. Being long-distance now certainly does not help things either. There is a saying which goes "Celebrate the little things in life.." and that is what I or we try to do. We celebrated by webcamming and the poor boy fell asleep in between and he was moving like a pendulum: left-straight-right-straight..it was simply hilarious! Anyways, we had fun staring at each other, making faces and being lame for a while before he got back to revising.

For this reason, 10th has always been special for me..
